HIDDEN COLOURS
There is a strange city that has no colour!
In this city lives a little girl who finds it all very boring. But one day she comes across a magical cat that takes her one a journey through the city. This becomes a story about finding colour and friends in unlikely places, you just have to go searching for them.
This project started at university, where we were tasked to create a children’s picture book. After a lot of brainstorming I came up with the idea for this story. Living in a city, I often forget that there are so many wonderful small spots that celebrate art and nature and often all I need to do to find them is go on a wonder through the city.
I drew inspiration from cities and people around the world.
